Probably the most hyped club out of Vegas thanks to MTV, a celebrity clientele and great marketing by the Palms
Casino
Resort, Rain in the Desert is a Vegas clubber's dream. With a line that wraps around the casino and clubbers
waiting
anxiously to get in, Rain is doing something right.
The styling of the club is dark, filled with lush reds, golds, purple and black hues. Fourteen-foot fireballs light up an
elevated dance floor as glistening bodies dance to a beat that is so contagious, the dancing water fountains struggle to
keep up. The VIP area, called Mezzanine, is upstairs and has six private skyboxes with private balconies overlooking the
elevated stage dance floor that include sexy designer furniture. A state-of-the-art lighting system is combined with a
mechanical truss structure that moves wildly above the dance floor and shoots out fireballs (definite must see).
Rain has gorgeous go-go dancers suspended on platforms from the ceiling, generous bartenders and beautiful people
seem to be everywhere. Rain is also a great place to hookup with tourists and locals filling the club. Rain seems to have
everything going for it and only gets better in the summer when the outdoor pool area is open. Rain in the Desert is a
mega club that lives up to the hype.
